A 7-week program for Christians seeking greater clarity, courage, and conviction in putting their faith into action—at home, at work, and in the community
In today’s world, walking out your faith takes more than belief—it takes clarity, courage, and conviction. You want to honor Christ in every part of life—but knowing what that looks like and how to do it can be hard.
Led by retired Marine Colonel Richard Mendelow and Christian coach Christy Mendelow, this 7-week, in-person program helps Christian men and women take real, practical steps to:
Each week builds toward your own Command Philosophy—a deeply personal leadership statement, rooted in Scripture, that puts your faith into action in the real world.
Seats are limited. Register by September 5, 2025.
WEEK 1 – Orientation and Intent
September 10
We’ll provide an overview of the course, share our goal of writing our Command Philosophies, get to know one another, and identify the GAP between where we are and where we’re meant to be according to Christ. What would your life look like if you lived it fully for Him? The space in between is the Gap—and this course will help close it with clarity and conviction.
WEEK 2 – Values, Vision & Purpose
September 17
This week, we’ll dig into your values, strengths, and passions through assessments. We’ll discuss personal and family mission and vision statements, as well as the mental models that shape how you lead.
WEEK 3 – Building the Framework
October 1
We’ll introduce the MAP (My Action Plan) Framework and begin crafting your personal Command Philosophy—examining mission planning, objectives, and a biblical foundation for leadership.
WEEK 4 – Standing Firm in the Battle
October 8
This week focuses on recognizing the spiritual battlefield. We’ll discuss biblical principles, the concept of maneuver warfare, and introduce the Marine Corps MAGTF model as a lens to understand your role in spiritual readiness.
WEEK 5 – Overcoming Resistance
October 15
You’ll learn to identify internal and external resistance and apply practical tools—including the OODA Loop and After Action Reports, drawn from military training—to stay focused, adapt, and lead effectively in your daily walk.
WEEK 6 – Faith in Action
October 22
This week is dedicated to real-life application. We’ll explore how to walk out what you are writing in your Command Philosophy at home, in the community, at work, and at church. We’ll also address how to talk with family, children, and friends about this journey—and how to include them in it.
WEEK 7 – Graduation & Celebration
October 29
In this final week, you’ll share your Command Philosophy and celebrate your growth with your family. Children are invited to attend and take part in a meaningful night that acknowledges how your faith walk impacts theirs.
Connect with Courageous Christianity and become part of a thriving community of like-minded believers committed to living out their faith courageously.
