… “Please listen to my radio show or catch it as a podcast. And read my book.” It was in response to these many communications from good people who are genuinely struggling that I partnered with KKHT, THE WORD, on 100.7 FM in Houston to produce “Courageous Christianity with Richard Mendelow.“ 

Our mission at Courageous Christianity is to equip Christian warriors for the spiritual battlefield. We hope to empower them in decisive action at the intersection of their faith and the secular world so as to effect spiritual, personal, political, economic, educational, and social change.

There is no doubt that the United States of America has become a battlefield. At the same time, our faith cuts across every opportunity we have for victory. Why then have so many forgotten that Jesus was a warrior who said in the Book of Matthew, chapter 10 verse 34, “Do not suppose that I come to bring peace, I do not come to bring peace but a sword.”

In this scripture, Jesus refers to the many choices that we each make daily as Christians as we strive to walk out our faith and overcome evil. What if we made those choices with the resolve and awareness of warriors?

At Courageous Christianity, that is our mission. 70% of the U.S. population identifies as Christian. To mobilize this demographic has significant spiritual, political, economic, and cultural ramifications.

Our efforts include a radio show in Houston on 100.7FM which is livestreamed internationally, a podcast which analysis shows is downloaded thousands of times a month all over the world (20,000 downloads in December 2022) and is available on all podcast apps, speaking engagements at faith-based and secular venues, in-person and online teaching, Blogs, publication in magazines, book sales, and strategic partnerships.

The many trials of these present days put us all to decisions. At the intersection of our faith and the secular world, someone will be changed. If Christians are not equipped as warriors to stand their ground, clad in the full armor of God, and prepared to contend with grace and love, we will continue to lose ground and our world will continue to shrink as the progressive hordes overcome us throughout the circumstances of our days.
